I am an experienced integrative therapist. I use a range of approaches including person-centred (humanist) counselling, cognitive and behavioural therapies (CBT) and EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing).
I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an EMDR Europe accredited practitioner. I trained in counselling and psychotherapy at the University of East London and completed my Diploma in 2006.
I see clients in my Stoke Newington Practice, and online with Skype. Stoke Newington is close to Dalston E8, Hackney E9, Stamford Hill N15, Finsbury Park N4 and Islington, N1.
I also see clients at iCope, the Camden and Islington Psychological Therapies Service which is part of the NHS improving access to psychological therapies service or IAPT.
My previous practice experience includes working for the IAPT service run by West Essex Mind, central London counselling practice One Therapy London, as a volunteer counsellor for Terrence Higgins Trust and at the Centre for Better Health (formerly the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association or PRA).
